Many of the top Champagne houses count centuries of history, but far newer to the game is Champagne Frerejean Frères, a project from brothers Guillaume, Rodolphe, and Richard Frerejean (part of the famous Tattinger family). To contain their entry-level, blanc de blanc (100% Chardonnay) Champagne made with grapes sourced from top Premiere and Grand Cru vineyards, the team picked an elegant, clear glass bottle bearing a tin label designed with their family's coat of arms: During Napoléon Bonaparte's era, the first Frerejean brothers were his cannon-makers.
